Hello Peeps,

Today I want to share some examples I made with the Meant To Be bundle from page 6 of the new Spring/Summer catalogue. If you don’t have a catalogue, please get in touch with me so I van send you one or look here. The bundle consists of the Meant To Be stamp set and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits dies.

Meant To Be bundle and All My Love suite

The stamp set is a cling set (want to know more? Click here) and consists of 13 stamps. There are 6 sentiments, 6 hearts and a rose detail. This is a great set in itself with which you can easily make beautiful Valentines day, wedding or love themed cards. Combining them with the dies however opens up a whole new level of possibilities. The die set is made up of no less than 16 die. Most are heart shaped but there are some other (romantic) details inclueded. With these you can create moer depth in your projects, play with inlay techniques or make fun shaker cards. And because the bundle is part of the All My Love suite, there are even more coordinating products.

The Meant To Be bundle is one of two bundles that are a part of the All My Love suite. This also contains the All My Love Designer Series Paper, Cardstock Pack, Ribbon Combo Pack, the Heart Epoxy Droplets and the Forever Lovely bundle. Some of those products were used in my examples which is why I wanted to point them out. You can find all the information about these products on pages 4-6 of the Spring/Summer catalogue .

Cards

The first card I made, shows the inlay technique. By applying a layer of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of the cardstock. you make a sticker from your die cut, so to speak. It will still take some effort to place all the tiny pieces in the outline, but it will be considerably les than if you had to put glue on eacht piece first. After that I just needed to add an extra heart with a Dimensional and finish the card of with some sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment pack.

I wanted to make the second card in non-traditional colours. The All My Love Designer Series Paper has touches of Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam so I used those as a jumping off point. I combined the soft masculine colours with some Crumb Cake ink and Linen Thread. The Iridescent Sequins complete this card. As you can see, you can easily make a simple card without needing a lot of different materials.

Other projects

Because I wanted to show the versatility of the suite, decided to make a few 3D projects to round out the two cards. I decorated a mason jar and one of the Kraft Pillow Boxes which are listed in the annual catalogue

My largest project however was a sampler. This is a photo frame in which you display samples of all the parts of a suite. Of course you don’t need to limit yourself so you could make a sampler based on a season or a type of animal. There are a variety of examples to be found online. This was my first attempt and I am quite proud of the result. It was a lot of fun to create something using all of the papers, dies and stamps. I can certainly recommend making one if you find it difficult to make that first cut into new pretty paper. Once you are busy, the creative ideas will come in waves. I will certainly be making more of these in the future.

See you next time,

Leonie
