Hello Peeps,

Are you looking forward to spring? I am fed up of this strange weather we’ve been having lately and I can’t wait for the sun to show us what she can do. In order to transform my springfever into something positive, I made this card with the cute animals from the We Must Celebrate stamp set (Spring/Summer Catalogue page 39)

I was also completely inspired by a film I saw by Jennifer McGuire, who was using the smaller images from a stamp set in a pale coloured ink, to fill in a background. This set lends itself to that technique beautifully. The card really doesn’t need much else.

I had coloured the animals before hand using some alcohol markers so I just needed to cut them out and attach them to the stamped background with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. I attachted the panel to the Crumbcake card base with some Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue. On the front I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Basic Black and on the inside I stamped the matching From All Of Us.

This Sunday I’ll be hosting a ‘Coffee and a Card’-workshop at my home featuring the Springtime Foils cardstock. I’ll share what we made next week.
