Hallo Prulleke, Hello Snippet,

Het wordt nu echt zomers in Nederland. De zon straalt, overal worden zwembadjes gevuld en hoor je de kinderen weer lekker buiten spelen. Tegen etenstijd ruik je de barbeque’s weer. Heerlijk. Ook wordt er volop gevaccineerd. Ik was afgelopen week aan de beurt voor mijn eerste prikje met Moderna. Gelukkig heb ik er niet lang last van gehad. Voor mijn gevoel lijkt het einde van de Corona-crisis nu echt in zicht te komen. Eerlijk gezegd ben ik daar ook wel aan toe hoor. Afgelopen weekeind hebben we in het klein Tobias verjaardag nog een beetje gevierd en dan merk ik weer hoe hard ik het mis om mensen om me heen te hebben. Wat hebben we het toch gezellig samen. Wat ik ook heel gezellig vind is natuurlijk knutselen en daarom deel ik vandaag de kaart die ik als bedankje heb verzonnen voor de maand juni.

Summer really seems to have arrived in the Netherlands. The sun is shining, pools are getting filled up everywhere and you can hear children playing outside. Around dinner time you can smell the barbeque’s being lit up. Wonderful. There are also lots of vaccinations going on. Last week it was my turn to get my first shot of Moderna. It didn’t bother me too long, thankfully. I feel like the end is in sight on the whole Corono-crisis. To be honest, I’m ready for it to be over. Last weekend we had a small party for Tobias’ birthday which reinforced how much I miss being around people. We just have such a good time together. I also have a good time when I’m crafting, which I still do a lot. So today I want to share the Thank You cards for the month of June.

Deze kaart is gemaakt met de Hand-Penned Petals stempelset. Deze heb ik pas geleden besteld dus dit is mijn eerste keer dat ik er iets mee maak. Ik moet zeggen, de stempels zijn prachtig! Ik ben dol op de schetserige look van de outline bloemen en ik hou er van dat je de bloemen net niet helemaal kunt kleuren met de stempels. Heel gaaf. Ik besefte te laat dat er een stempeltje was voor de twee kleine roze bloempjes dus deze zijn gekleurd met een bloem die eigenlijk een maat te groot was, maar dat maakt niets uit. Ik heb de gekleurde delen allemaal eerst afgestempeld voor een zachtere look. Ik heb de bloemen uitgestanst en geplakt op een stuk 2021-2023 In Color Designpapier in de kleur Evening Evergreen. Met een paar coördinerende jewels heb ik de kaart afgemaakt.

This card is made with the Hand-Penned Petals stampset. I recently ordered it so this is my first time using it. I have to say, the stamps are stunning. I adore the sketchy look of the outlined flowers and I love that the filler stamps don’t completely fill the images. Very cool. I realised to late that there is a seperate stamp for the two tiny pink flowers so I had coloured them with a flower one size up. I don’t think it matters. Before stamping the coloured images I stamped them off first for a softer look. I die cut the flowers and stuck them to a piece of 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper in Evening Evergreen. A few coordinating Jewels finished the card off beautifully.
