Hello Peeps,

Just a few more days before the new catalogue launches. If there is anything you still want from the current catalogue or from the occasions catalogue, let me know as soon as possible. As of right now it is while supplies last for a lot of lovely products. One such example is the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper which was the inspiration for the colour combination in the next 2 cards.

Hello

The Bike Ride stamp set is such a prime example of a springtime set and with the weather we’ve been having the last week, I couldn’t resist using it. As I mentioned before, I used the colours from the Coffee Break paper to stamp and die cut the images. I used Candy Dot Brad Bases to attach the wheels. These have been retired years ago but were a good combination with the Candy Dots. Those were available in set of colours per colour family. Since I had some left in my stash, I added some Pear Pizzazz ones to complete the wheels. As a bonus the wheels can really spin now too. How fun is that? By attaching the frame of the bike and the basket with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals the whole thing got some more depth. The Hello sentiment is actually fron the Jar of Love stamp set. and the cobblestone road beneath the bike is a print fron the Petal Passion stamp set. I own the Dutch version of this set. It is called In De Bloemetjes Zetten. In the new catalogue there will also be several sets that have been translated into Dutvh. If you are interested in obtaining the new catalogue and the Dutch translations, send me a message through the contactpage.

Trots op jou/Proud of you

This card started with the idea of using a small image all over the background. The tiny bike is from the Sheltering Tree stamp set. I repeatedly stamped it in Early Espresso and Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake cardstock. Once again I stamped the different parts of the bike and cut them out with the Build a Bike Framelits dies. However, the bike seemed to float on the card. In order to fix that I used one of the dies from the Petals & More Framelits dies. At this moment you can still get the dies as a bundle with the Petal Passion/ In De Bloemetjes Zetten stamps. As of june 1st 2018 you can still get them seperately but no longer as a bundle with a 10% discount. The Trots op jou  (Proud of you) sentiment is from the In De Bloemetjes Zetten set and the die I used to cut out the sentiment is from the matching Petals & More Framelits dies set.

That was it for now. The last blog post of this catalogue year. I look forward to ringing in the new year with a look at some new products and a review of the new Stampin’ Up! ink colours which have been added because of the colour revamp.

See you next time
